Greetings Resinheads!
What a crazy few weeks we have had here at Resin Brewing! As we’re sure you are all aware, we had a fantastic opening fortnight filled with happy customers, good food and great beer. We had over 2000 customers through the doors who drank their way through almost 4000l of our delicious craft beer! Now that’s a successful opening fortnight, no matter how you look at it.
Then the world as we know it changed in the blink of an eye and our very successful brewpub had to adapt, and quickly – which is exactly what we did.
Within a week we had growlers up and running and with a beer delivery system designed for serving the people in glassware, we had run into a world of problems. Frothy beers that simply refused to be poured into growlers became the order of the day and the more we tried to fix it, the worse we seemed to make the problem. With much trial and error, we managed to find the right balance and once again the beer started to flow……and flow and flow. To the point where we couldn’t get growlers in quick enough. We sold out of the first batch of 100 in 90 minutes and the second batch of 130 in a day, before deciding to move to the king of growlers, the Hydroflask. At present we have about 350 growlers & squealers out there and are currently waiting on our next batch, as we have sold out once again!
In other exciting news, we are currently waiting on our canning machine, which we hope to arrive within the next fortnight. Once it arrives we will have 500ml cans available for takeaway.

Speaking of beer, we have a few additions to the menu that have just arrived or are about to come on the taps. Our Refraction Hazy Pale has been an outstanding seller and is down to the last couple of 100l’s, which will see the return of the Paradox Pale Ale in the next couple of days. Our 8 Shades Imperial Stout is up and running and was a real treat over the Easter weekend especially when combined with copious amounts of chocolate, we expect this to be a big seller as the days get shorter and the nights colder. We have also just brewed our first batch of Hackney English Pale which we hope to have ready over the coming weeks.
Lastly, and most importantly, we would also like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all of the Resinheads, as well as the wider community. The amount of kind words and support we have received over the past few weeks has been phenomenally humbling.
