What do you get when you add pork knuckle, live music, and big ol' steins filled with top quality Marzen together?

A sold out Oktoberfest!

We are running Oktoberfest over Saturday (3rd) and Sunday (4th) of the Oktober long weekend - and with no footy finals on this year where else would you possibly go!

As our loyal Resinheads, we are offering you the chance to pre-book a table before we announce this event on Social Media.

We've prepared two traditional beers - a malty Oktoberfest (Marzen lager) which is tasting divine with lovely toasty notes and a super smooth and refreshing Festbeer (German Lager) using imported German Pilsner Malt and Noble hops. We will also be serving our 3-Corgis English Mild, which at 3% and being super tasty will provide an alternative to the bigger German beers.

Head chef Yon Miller has been cooking up a storm in the kitchen and we will be serving an array of traditional Oktoberfest meals.

How are we running it?

We are having 4 lunchtime and evening sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

  • Session 1: Saturday, Midday to 4.30pm

  • Session 2: Saturday 5pm to close

  • Session 3: Sunday, Midday to 4.30pm

  • Session 4: Sunday 5pm to close

Cost

The cost is $40 per person payable upon entry, and this includes live music and a full 2 course meal including servings of each of the menu items below;

  • Pretzels mustard whipped smoked fat and dips

  • Potato pancakes sour cream chives

  • Crackling pork knuckles, braised kraut

  • Bratwurst

  • Chicken schnitzel

  • Kransky

T&Cs

Like all of our events, the COVID safety of our guests is a high priority for Resin. Whilst there will be a festival atmosphere we are still required to strictly enforce social distancing requirements, including remaining seated, not mingling/dancing etc. COVID safety marshalls are required to be onsite for the duration of the event.

We also have to be conscious of our RSA responsibilities - so please don't book two sessions on the same day. These German beers are fairly big and the sessions are long enough to have a great time.

Bookings

With limited numbers, all bookings will be taken over the phone (02 4284 1210). We are open from midday daily to take bookings, and accepting a minimum booking size of 4. These will be divided into:

  • Heritage building tables

  • Bar tables (inside)

  • Weather dependent tables (outside)

We are working on marquees for the outside tables, but in the event of bad weather can't guarantee that this area will be dry...
